Bernhard Edmaier’s Patterns of the Earth is a stunning compilation of aerial photography that has been my go-to for color and pattern inspiration for some time now. The awe-inspiring views range from technicolor glacial runoffs to submerged coral reefs dotting the sea floor. I love that the scale of the photos can be confused to make the viewer question “am I looking at a microscopic crack in a piece of ice or the expansive mouth of a river?”
